There are now multiple ways to contribute towards the Chippewa Park Carousel Restoration Project and they are all entirely customizable to achieve the perfect fit for you. No matter what, in the end, you will be able to look at a horse and say, “I donated that piece right there!” Now is your chance to make a difference. We are now offering the opportunity to sponsor specific items on a limited number of horses. By choosing from the illustration below, you can hand-pick your lasting legacy. Choose one or mix and match to tailor your donation to precisely your preferred contribution. You may also choose to make a one-time donation, or give on monthly basis for up to two years. See the diagram below for an indication of the specific items available for adoption.
If you would like to make your contribution on a recurring basis, signing up for continued giving is easy and customizable! Just decide on an amount you would like to contribute, determine your term length, and then fill out your post-dated cheques and drop them off with your donation form. Your donations will be retrieved at the beginning of every month until your contribution term is up, it’s that easy! Donations are easy and fun to customize and every contribution counts! For more information, answers to questions you may have, or to make a donation please email coordinator@saveourcarousel.ca. Thank you for Saving Our Carousel!
As part of a Name a Horse draw, Ava Walter of Nipigon won the right to name a horse!
Touchingly, Ava renamed Horse 4b, “Brunner" after her Grandmother who immigrated to Canada when she was just 12-years old.
Ava immediately celebrated her win by sponsoring Brunner’s saddle blanket. Ava is now challenging others to contribute to the restoration of “her” horse. You can help Ava raise the $20,000 needed to restore Brunner by choosing one of the beautiful features available for sponsorship.
